Our take
Mercy traps detective Chris Raven in a 90-minute AI trial for his wife's murder. Rated PG-13 for violence, bloody images, strong language, drug content, and teen smoking, the Timur Bekmambetov thriller uses body-cam footage, affair suspicions, and a guilt-percentage countdown. Haunted-house jokes, gambling backstory, and alcohol references appear in dialogue. The tone is slick and stressful rather than splatter-heavy. Best for teens 14+ who can handle wrongful-death tension

Talk after watching
- Chris must prove innocence to a system he helped build. When does technology stop being fair?
- The AI judge sees every camera feed. How much surveillance is too much for justice?
- Alcohol and anger cloud Chris's past. Can flawed people still deserve a fair trial?
