Our take

Wicked: For Good is a PG musical on Prime Video and in theaters. It is darker than part one, with magical fights, a house death, body horror transformations, and an implied sex scene under blankets. Language stays mild with playful Shiz instead of swearing. Tweens who know the story may be fine; sensitive kids may struggle with death and transformation scenes

Story (may spoil tone)

As an angry mob rises against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to come together one final time. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.
