Our take
Caught Stealing is rated R for violent content, pervasive language, sexuality/nudity, and brief drug use. Austin Butler stars in a gritty 1990s New York crime story with baseball heists, mob pressure, and heavy profanity in dialogue. Dialogue includes frequent f-word use, assault talk, and overdose references. A mature crime drama for older teens, not middle-school viewers

Talk after watching
- Hank gets pulled into crime he did not plan. How do small choices lead to big trouble?
- The story mixes sports nostalgia with criminal danger. Does that make the violence feel more or less shocking?
- Characters use humor under pressure. When does joking help or hide real fear?
