Roommates

Movie 2026 108 min MA 15+ Comedy

Our take

Roommates is an R-rated Netflix comedy about shy freshman Devon and cool-girl Celeste whose dorm friendship turns into a passive-aggressive war. Expect constant f-word banter, beer pong and drunk-party scenes, joint and smoking references, and harsh insults thrown out windows. A funeral mention adds brief grief context. Mature teens who enjoy edgy college comedies; the rating and language make it a poor fit for younger kids

Talk after watching

  • Devon and Celeste start as friends then become rivals. What turns roommates into enemies?
  • Passive aggression can hurt as much as yelling. How would you handle a difficult roommate?
  • College parties show drinking and smoking. How do movies differ from real campus choices?
