Our take

Pets on a Train is a PG animated adventure about animals accidentally aboard a speeding train while a vengeful badger threatens a crash. Expect cartoon chases, talk of rifles and explosions, kidnapping played for laughs, and one bully insult. A crude kiss-my-tail joke is verbal, not romantic. Short runtime and upbeat teamwork make it fine for early elementary viewers with a parent nearby for the scarier train moments

Story (may spoil tone)

When a train unexpectedly starts up, taking only pets with it, the animals discover that Hans, a badger with a grudge is behind it all. While the crash seems inevitable, the animals can count on Falcon, a roguish Raccoon who will do anything to save them.
