Our take

Oh. What. Fun. is a PG-13 Christmas comedy about Claire, the family glue, who walks out after being forgotten on a holiday outing and finds her own adventure. Expect married-couple sex references, wine and drunk memories, a cigarette gag, mild hell and s-word language, and one strong f-word during a comedy-club set. Scary moments stay playful, a demonic voice joke and ghost quip. Warm reconciliation themes suit tweens and teens with parents who OK PG-13 language

Uplifting themes

Self-worth, family gratitude, and choosing joy anchor the holiday arc Claire models speaking up; the family learns to notice who holds them together
