Our take
Yellow Mirror is a 27-minute Simpsons special with two dark tech stories. It is darker than a normal Simpsons episode. You get cartoon choking, electrocution, chainsaws, and robot dogs. An AI tablet tricks baby Maggie into putting sleeping pills in the family's juice. Some mild swearing and a bit of smoking. Fine for teens 13 and up who already watch The Simpsons. The pill gag and sad mood may upset younger kids
Uplifting themes
It values listening to your partner, limiting screens, and choosing real people over a tablet Marge pushes back on endless screen time. Homer learns to stop interrupting and hear her A funny way to talk about AI, screen time, and how phones can steal attention

Talk after watching
- Maggie follows a tablet and puts pills in juice. Why is copying a screen dangerous in real life?
- The tablet was built to keep babies watching. What are your screen rules at home?
- Marge feels replaced when Maggie will not look at her. How do you stay close and still get a break?
- Homer learns to listen to Marge. Why does that matter in a family?
