Our take

Transformers One is a colourful animated prequel about two friends on Cybertron who become rivals. Expect loud robot action, talk of past battles, and a couple of hells. No sex, drugs, or realistic gore. Fine for most children who already handle superhero fights. Younger or sensitive kids may find the later battles intense

Friendship, speaking up against injustice, and asking who a story is really serving Orion keeps trying to do right by ordinary workers even as the fight gets bigger
