Azrael is a lean horror film set in a world where speech is forbidden. A young woman escapes, is recaptured, and is meant as a sacrifice. Expect chases, blood, religious cult cruelty, and creature-threat in the woods. Almost no dialogue, so the violence does the talking. Older teens and adults who want harsh, wordless horror
Story (may spoil tone)
In a world where no one speaks, a devout female hunts down a young woman who has escaped her imprisonment. Recaptured by its ruthless leaders, Azrael is due to be sacrificed to pacify an ancient evil deep within the surrounding wilderness.
