Never Let Go

Movie 2024 101 min MA 15+ Horror
AMU 16+ * Quality ★★★☆☆

Our take

Never Let Go keeps a mother and her twin sons inside a house they believe is the only safe place left. Expect child peril throughout, talk of killing family, a suicide framed as protection, and some f-word language. The violence is emotional and physical. Upsetting for anyone sensitive to kids in danger. Older teens and adults

Story (may spoil tone)

As an evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and their family’s protective bond.

Talk after watching

  • A parent makes the house the whole world. When does protection become a trap?
  • The boys are asked to believe a story about evil outside. How do you check what is real?
  • Family violence is discussed as if it were love. Why is that so hard to watch?
