Our take
All Wishes Come True! (Ba Xian!) is a Mandarin animated adventure-comedy inspired by the Eight Immortals legend. Eight ordinary misfits pose as gods to pull off a heavenly heist while a shadow conspiracy threatens the world. Fandango lists death as a stake for anyone caught, but trade coverage frames it as broad family comedy with slapstick schemes. Dialogue is in Mandarin. Best for school-age kids who enjoy long animated epics; very young viewers may struggle with the 2h 24m runtime.
