Our take
Aida, the Movie is a TV-MA meta-drama about filming a provocative series with storylines inside and outside the set. Expect sexual violence themes, heavy profanity, drinking, harassment talk, and dark industry satire. Adults only
Story (may spoil tone)
The film deals with the filming of an episode of the series with storylines that take place both within the fiction with the characters of 'Aída' and outside of it with the actors themselves and their relationships, which reflects on topics such as the limits of comedy, the work of a comedian and fame.

Talk after watching
- Stories about making TV blur fiction and real harm. Who protects performers on set?
- Satire targets exploitation in entertainment. What felt exaggerated versus familiar?
- Meta plots ask viewers to judge what they watch. How complicit is the audience?
