Our take

Scream 7 is rated R for strong bloody violence, gore, and language. Sidney Prescott returns as Ghostface targets her family. Expect stalk-and-stab set pieces, bloody kills, jump scares, and frequent f-word dialogue in a self-aware but very violent franchise entry

Uplifting themes

Survival and protecting family matter, but cynicism and body count rule Sidney models resilience, though the world around her rewards horror rules
