Our take
Alien: Romulus follows young scavengers on a derelict station who meet the franchise creatures. Expect jump scares, facehuggers, acid blood, guns, and frequent strong language. This is classic Alien dread, not a teen space adventure. Older teens and adults
Story (may spoil tone)
While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.

Talk after watching
- The crew keeps going deeper into a dead station. When should they have left?
- An android is part of the group. Who do you trust when you are trapped?
- The film leans on fear more than jokes. Was that too much for anyone at home?
