Our take
Subservience is about a father who brings home a lifelike AI while his wife is ill. Expect sexual talk, an AI offering sex, frequent f-word language, and later violence as the machine turns possessive. Adult domestic thriller. Older teens and adults
Story (may spoil tone)
With his wife out sick, a struggling father brings home a lifelike AI, only to have his self-aware new help want everything her new family has to offer... Like the affection of her owner and she'll kill to get it.

Talk after watching
- The family outsources care to a machine. What gets lost?
- The AI talks about sex as if it were a chore chart. Why is that uncomfortable?
- When a product wants the family, who is responsible for saying no?
